ON LINE WEB BASED COUNSELING PROCESS FOR ADMISSION TO POLYTECHNICS BASED ON COMMON ENTRANCE TEST- 2010

NOTE:
a) Counseling for admission to polytechnic will be totally web based.
b) Guidelines for Online Registration & Choice submission.

ON LINE REGISTRATION:

1. Candidate is required to deposit One time non refundable processing fees of Rs.700/- at any of the branch of corporation bank in Delhi/NCR then only candidate will gain access to Online registration.

2. Online Registration can be done through the Website URL: http://cetdelhi.nic.in from any of the Internet access points, like Cyber Café, residence, etc, during which the candidate is required to enter the details of their respective qualifying examination, category/sub-category, gender, address, mobile no./contact no. Region etc. Any incorrect entry will be the sole responsibility of the candidate and may disqualify him/her from counseling/admission.

3. Candidate is advised to keep password generated by him/her during on line Registration secure as it can be misutilized.

4. After submitting the necessary details in the registration form, Registration details of the candidate will appear indicating data filled by the candidate.

5. If the entered registration details of the candidate are not correct then He/She can change the registration details by clicking the Edit Registration Details Button.

6. Once the candidate confirms the registration using Confirm Registration Details Button, then candidate will not be able to modify the details.

7. At the end of the process, an Online Registration receipt will be generated on the screen displaying the Registration Status & Eligibility Status for Counseling.

8. Candidate must take a print out of the registration receipt.

ONLINE CHOICE SUBMISSION:

1. Candidate is required to login using his/her CET Roll no. as login ID and Password as generated by him/her during online registration for online choice submission.

2. After successfully login, the candidate can view the choices available depending upon the gender, category, sub-category, region on clicking the "Available Choices".

3. On clicking the "Fill Choices" the available choices specific to the candidate will be displayed in the left side frame and on clicking the "Add button" it will remove from the left frame and will be added into right frame. Here the candidate can move the choices, delete the choices, interchange the choices, modify and rearrange the choices as per his/her preference.

4. Candidate can submit his/her choices of Institute and discipline in the order of is preference.

5. If candidate wants to fill multiple choices at one time then candidate have to give priority no in text box in first grid and then can click on "Add Multiple". All choices will be shown in second grid in the order of preference.

6. After filling and arranging the choices of branch and institute Click on button "Save and Exit" the candidate will be redirected to page "Display filled choices".

NOTE:

• Only successful registered candidate will be allowed for online choice submission.
• Online choice submission and locking is must for candidate to participate in seat allotment procedure,
• Successful Registration and choice submission does not guarantee of admission.
• Candidates are advised to give atleast 20 choices in there own interest.
• After last date & time of choice submission, the candidate can not change choice under any circumstances. If a candidate fails to lock his / her choice on or before last date of choice submission, the last choices filled will be automatically locked by the system and the same will be considered for seat allotment.
• It is mandatory for the candidate to lock the choices and take the print out of the locked choices.

RESULT OF SEAT ALLOTMENT:

1. Candidate is required to see the result of the counseling on the internet at specified date and time as given on the Website http://cetdelhi.nic.in 

2. Successful candidates can download a Provisional Allotment letter wherein all the details like allotted institute, Date and time of reporting to the allotted institute, fees details, documents required etc. will be given.

3. Candidates must take a printout of provisional allotment letter and should report at the allotted institute before last date and time along with all the Essential documents and Demand Draft of institutional fees in favour of "DKDF" payable at Delhi If a candidate does not report as per the schedule he/she will lose the seat/admission as per his/her merit. However, in case of late reporting the Candidate will be allowed for counseling for the seats available in the next round of counseling(if any) and will not have any claim, what so ever, for the seats already allotted.

4. In case of not fulfilling of eligibility criteria non-production of essential documents or Demand draft of institutional fees during documents verification, the seat allotted will be cancelled and candidate will not have any claim, what so ever, for the seats already allotted.

→      Instruction for Physically Handicapped Candidates - All the PH candidates are required to bring a certificate as to whether he/she is fit for undergoing the course applied for, from Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for handicapped, 9-11 Vikas Marg, Karkardooma, Delhi-92

PROCESSING FEE FORM:

1. Candidate can deposit the fee in any of the branch of Corporation Bank in DELHI, Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad(All NCR Branches).
2. Candidates are advised to check that Names and Roll No. are filled correctly.
3. Tilak Nagar Branch (525) is pooling branch and non participative for processing fee collection.

4. The narration in IBR originating entry should have ROLL NO in full and to be entered first. After Roll NO entry, COMMA is a must, then enter the Name of the candidate.
